Inspired by the 2020 stay at home mandated state orders, I created an Instagram page where I post images accompanied with haiku and senryu. By doing so, I was able to find catharsis through creativity during a global pandemic. Follow my Instagram page to view the entire ongoing project.
A flock of sparrows
Swiftly fly into a tree,
Then back out again.
Now I become still -
Mulling, when this is over
Who will I become?
I click my camera
I write a Haiku, well now,
The world makes more sense
