Passing Through A Pin Hole


Using digitally shot images through a self-created pinhole cap, I set out to explore a lensless process to capture both shadow and tone. My attempt is to create a visceral experience, as the subject matter is not the concern. Instead, blurring, distortion, and speckling debris reacting with light is. These images evoke from the present, a random passing moment, which can only continue to exist in our subconscious.


Subjects were photographed in Riverside California, during the pre and post Spring Equinox – a delicate time when flora begins to bloom and fauna become lively, only to quickly wilt and retreat with the arrival of Summer's heat. I have self curated select images into a self published book, "Passing Through A Pin Hole" (link below).
